Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to remove your account and any Meta / Instagram platform data that ten2 has stored on your behalf. It satisfies the "Data Deletion Instructions URL" required by Meta App Review.

Option 1 — Disconnect inside the product

If you are using a ten2 tool that has an Instagram connection, the fastest way is to disconnect it from inside the product:

Disconnecting immediately revokes the OAuth access tokens issued by Meta and queues all associated Meta platform data (media references, captions, insights, page/account IDs, tokens) for deletion. This is normally completed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email request

You can also request deletion by email. Send a message to hello@ten2.xyz with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:

We will confirm the request, perform the deletion within 30 days, and send you a confirmation when it is complete.

Option 3 — Revoke directly from Meta

You can also revoke ten2's access to your Instagram / Facebook account at any time from your Meta account settings:

Revoking access from Meta invalidates our tokens immediately. Email us afterwards if you also want the stored historical data deleted from our systems.

What gets deleted

Backups containing your data are purged on their normal rotation schedule (no longer than 30 days after the deletion request). Fully anonymised, aggregated metrics that cannot be linked back to you or your account may be retained for product analytics.
